Emaar Properties has unveiled an extraordinary lighting transformation for the Burj Khalifa. The updated RGBW lighting system integrates cutting-edge technology with the iconic structure’s elegant design. Scheduled to debut during the UAE’s Eid Al Etihad celebrations on 1 December 2024, the system also marks the start of celebrations for the tower’s 15th anniversary on 4 January 2025.
This dynamic lighting upgrade introduces a dazzling spectrum of colours and captivating effects, enhancing the visitor experience while underscoring Dubai’s leadership in innovative design.
After six months of detailed mock-up testing, the RGBW system replaces static lights with adaptable, colour-changing fixtures. These fixtures create complex lighting patterns for various events, from day-to-day displays to celebratory illuminations, while integrating harmoniously with Burj Khalifa’s media façade.
