Industrial Computing Specialist AAEON to Demonstrate Edge AI Applications at Major Barcelona Technology Exhibition

Visitors to one of the world’s premier audiovisual and systems integration trade shows will have the opportunity to experience hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge edge AI computing technology when AAEON takes centre stage at Integrated Systems Europe 2026 next month.

The industrial and embedded computing platform manufacturer has confirmed it will occupy Booth 4G200 in Hall 4 at Barcelona’s Fira Gran Via venue, where it plans to showcase a diverse range of interactive demonstrations designed to illustrate how its product ecosystem can accelerate artificial intelligence processing at the edge.

Among the highlight attractions will be an AI-powered retail analysis system that leverages the BOXER-8653AI’s NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module to deliver personalised product recommendations based on customer demographic data. The demonstration aims to show how edge computing can transform customer engagement in retail environments.

In a particularly eye-catching display, attendees will encounter a robotic dog capable of recognising human gestures and responding to commands. The demonstration unit runs on AAEON’s de next-RAP8 platform, offering a glimpse into how edge AI can power autonomous robotics applications.

The company’s RISC Computing Division will present two additional demonstrations. An interactive slot machine will highlight the uCOM-M700’s advanced 4K video encoding and decoding capabilities, powered by MediaTek’s Genio 700 platform. Meanwhile, a passenger information display will demonstrate the PICO-IMX8PL, a Pico-ITX format board built around NXP’s i.MX 8M Plus processor.

Beyond these interactive exhibits, AAEON will display a selection of single-board computers and complete system solutions incorporating the latest silicon from industry giants including Intel, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm.

Integrated Systems Europe has established itself as the flagship event for the AV and systems integration sector globally. Last year’s edition attracted more than 85,000 visitors and featured upwards of 1,600 exhibiting companies. The 2026 event promises an even larger platform for technology providers to present their innovations to an international audience.

The four-day exhibition, running from 3rd to 6th February, traditionally features an extensive programme of industry conferences, keynote presentations from sector leaders, and live technology demonstrations across multiple halls.

Those wishing to attend can register using AAEON’s invitation code ISE260016. The company has indicated that its booth will provide visitors with detailed insights into how its platforms address real-world edge AI deployment challenges across various industry sectors.

Founded in 1992, AAEON has built a reputation as a significant player in the industrial IoT and AI edge solutions market. The company’s portfolio spans industrial motherboards and complete systems, ruggedised tablets, embedded AI edge platforms, universal customer premises equipment for networking applications, and both LoRaWAN and WWAN connectivity solutions.

The manufacturer maintains close collaborative relationships with leading semiconductor designers to ensure platform stability and reliability. It also offers comprehensive OEM and ODM services to clients worldwide, drawing on more than three decades of industry experience.

In recent years, AAEON has expanded its focus to include smart city development, working alongside municipal authorities and government bodies to design and implement comprehensive urban technology ecosystems. This work encompasses both individual platform deployments and complete end-to-end integrated solutions.

The company positions continual innovation as a fundamental value, informing its approach to product development and customer service. This philosophy has enabled AAEON to maintain relevance across rapidly evolving technology sectors, from traditional industrial computing through to contemporary AI and edge processing applications.

Integrated Systems Europe 2026 represents a key opportunity for the company to demonstrate how its hardware platforms translate into practical applications across retail, transport, entertainment, and autonomous systems. The interactive nature of the demonstrations is designed to move beyond static product displays, offering visitors tangible experience of how edge AI computing performs in scenario-based implementations.

The Barcelona event arrives at a time of significant growth in edge computing adoption, as organisations across multiple sectors seek to process data closer to its source rather than relying on centralised cloud infrastructure. This shift has created demand for reliable, high-performance computing platforms capable of running sophisticated AI workloads in distributed environments.

AAEON’s presence at Hall 4, Booth 4G200 places it among a concentration of technology providers focused on audiovisual systems, digital signage, and integrated building technologies—sectors where edge AI applications are seeing particularly rapid deployment.
