One of the hockey world’s most anticipated events of the year is the 2024 World Juniors. The 10 top U20 teams will compete for the coveted gold medal in the 48th edition of the IIHF World Junior Championship this winter.

Hockey fans worldwide will have the opportunity to see some of the top young players come together under one roof as the competition is being held in Sweden this time.

Additionally, it will allow clubs the chance to bring the championship home. In relation to the favorites, Canada brings the reigning champion into the match. They defeated the Czech Republic in overtime to win the gold medal at the 2023 World Junior Championship.

Since the Canadians won four straight victories in the late 2000s, no other nation has been able to achieve the feat of a three-peat, which is what Team Canada will be aiming for. Keeping that in mind, here’s all the information you require on the 2024 World Juniors.

Live Stream Options 2024 World Juniors in Canada

TSN will be in charge of broadcasting every tournament contest, including the quarterfinal, semifinal, and medal games, as they are Team Canada’s official broadcast partner.

For all of the medal games, most of the playoff round, and all of the Group A games, Gord Miller and Mike Johnson will be calling the action. Group B’s play-callers are Craig Button and Dennis Beyak.

A combination of James Duthie, Bob McKenzie, Cheryl Pounder, Jeff O’Neil, and Mark Masters will be part of the in-studio team.
