The 2023-24 season is kicking off with the second annual PointsBet Invitational by Curling Canada, marking a significant event.

Sixteen men’s and women’s teams are all geared up for a high-stakes, single-elimination tournament, vying for a total purse of $350,000. The competition will unfold between September 27th and October 1st, right in Oakville, Ontario.

The action is set to kick off at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex this Wednesday, starting at 2 PM ET/11 AM PT with the Women’s Sweep 16 event.

How to watch 2023 PointsBet Invitational Curling Anywhere

The 2023 PointsBet Invitational will be on TSN for the entire tournament.

Fans can either watch live on TSN, or stream the competition on TSN.ca or on the TSN app

Expect to see a diverse range of teams taking part, ranging from Canadian champions and top contenders to club champions and promising junior rinks eager to shine in the spotlight.

Last year’s victors, Jennifer Jones and Reid Carruthers, who triumphed in Fredericton, New Brunswick, are returning to defend their titles in Oakville, although with some adjustments to their lineups.

This season comes with its fair share of intriguing storylines. For instance, it’s David Murdoch’s debut year as Curling Canada’s new Director of High Performance, and the start of the qualifying journey for the Canadian Olympic Trials. Many of Canada’s elite teams see the PointsBet Invitational as a pivotal event in their curling campaigns.
