The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation is inviting attendees to discover 76 of the most exciting Korean food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s leading food innovation exhibition, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

The Korean Pavilion, hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will be a key highlight of SIAL Paris 2024, which runs from 19th to 23rd October at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. This year, 76 Korean companies will display a wide range of innovative, eco-conscious, and health-driven food products aimed at international buyers.

Located in Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Pavilion will showcase a diverse selection of Korean food products, from traditional fermented sauces and Kimchi to noodles, ready meals, drinks, Ginseng, and vegan food items. These products reflect the rising demand for sustainable, plant-based options.

Korean Cuisine’s Growing Influence in Europe

Korean food is rapidly gaining popularity across Europe, renowned for its unique blend of health benefits and bold flavours. Retail giants such as Carrefour and Monoprix have started offering Korean food products, and SIAL Paris provides a perfect platform to explore this culinary trend. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with producers, taste products, and form business relationships.

The growing interest in veganism and plant-based diets in Europe has further boosted demand for Korean food. The versatility of Korean cuisine extends beyond Kimchi, as it continues to gain traction with chefs and consumers alike.

Showcasing the Best of Korean Food

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director of aT Center Paris, commented: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

Celebrating 60 years as the world’s leading food innovation exhibition, SIAL Paris 2024 is expected to attract 285,000 visitors from 200 countries. This event provides a significant platform for Korean companies to showcase their products to a global audience.
