Nine drivers will be pulling double duty at the Repco Bathurst 1000 this weekend, as they participate in both the Great Race and support categories.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 event will feature several support categories, including the Dunlop Series, Porsche Carrera Cup, Toyota 86, V8 SuperUtes, and Toyota 86 races.

Among these nine drivers, four will compete in the Dunlop Series, while five will take on the Porsche Carrera Cup. Notably, the Porsche Carrera Cup races will take place on Sunday morning, just before the main event, which consists of 161 laps around the track.

The remaining two Dunlop Series drivers, Zak Best and Jack Perkins, have more experience at Bathurst. Zak Best will be making his third appearance, partnering with James Courtney, while Jack Perkins will be participating in his 17th Bathurst race, racing with Will Brown for Tickford Racing and Erebus Motorsport, respectively.

Davison, who is set to once more team up with his younger brother Will at the Shell V-Power Racing Team, is rejoining the Porsche ranks after sitting out the Sandown race. These five drivers will have the challenging task of alternating between the Gen3 Supercars and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars.

Apart from the group of nine drivers engaged in dual responsibilities, numerous other drivers have participated in various categories in the lead-up to the 2023 enduros. Read More to original source
