RateHawk Celebrates 9 Years with 67% Booking Growth

B2B travel platform RateHawk is celebrating its 9th anniversary with record-breaking results. In 2024, the company’s net booking value rose by 80% compared to 2023, while global bookings jumped by 67%.

A key part of the UAE-based Emerging Travel Group, RateHawk helped push the group’s gross transaction value to $3.7 billion. The company also expanded its accommodation options significantly by adding over 70 new global suppliers, exceeding 300 wholesalers, and securing direct partnerships with more than 34,000 hotels—bringing its directly contracted inventory to 120,000 properties and total accommodation options to over 2.6 million worldwide.

The demand for RateHawk’s transportation booking services, including flights and transfers, doubled during 2024. The company also introduced booking of railway tickets across Europe which was welcomed with great enthusiasm by RateHawk partners. Within three months of its launch, over 25% of travel professionals who frequently book hotels on the platform have also utilized its railway services.

“According to the latest UN Tourism report, 1.4 billion people travelled internationally in 2024, almost reaching pre-pandemic levels. At RateHawk, we have been witnessing this trend firsthand through increased demand and significant growth in our company’s and partners’ businesses”, Felix Shpilman, President and CEO of Emerging Travel Group, RateHawk’s parent company, commented. “We’re proud to deliver unparalleled support to our partners during this exciting period of travel industry growth, developing both platform services and API integrations. In 2024 alone, we doubled the number of API integration contracts, partnering with over 500 new entities including Ctrip. This year, we aim to maintain this momentum, focusing on partnerships with OTAs and innovative travel tech platforms and providing the best product and technology for travel agents.”

In 2024, the service was localized in 8 more languages, bringing the total to 32. RateHawk also launched a new headquarters in Singapore, strengthening its position in the Asian region and its relationships with local partners.

RateHawk’s partners also increased by 50%, now over 93,000 travel professionals worldwide. In the UK and Ireland, the company formed new partnerships with market leaders such as TTNG and strengthened the network of 3000 travel agents connected to the platform.

“In the UK business, we had an impressive breakthrough with a 80% growth in net booking value year-over-year”, shared Chantal Tomlinson, Head of Business Development in the UK & Ireland. “This year has already started with several strategic partnerships with leading consortiums like Hays Travel IG, setting a strong foundation for the next milestones”.

According to RateHawk, the most popular outbound destinations booked by UK travel agents in 2024 were the USA, Spain, UAE, Italy, Saudi Arabia, France, Greece, Turkiye, Thailand, and Portugal. The top 5 domestic destinations were London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Birmingham.
