Once again, Tim Tszyu is stepping into the ring, ready to risk it all as he goes up against the dangerous Mexican fighter, Carlos Ocampo, on Sunday afternoon (AEDT) on the Gold Coast.
Tszyu, the undefeated Australian (22-0, 16 KOs), will put his WBO interim junior middleweight title on the line. This fight carries even greater stakes as Tszyu’s scheduled bout against division champion Jermell Charlo has been postponed due to Charlo’s injuries.

Following his impressive victory over American veteran Tony Harrison earlier this year, Tszyu faces yet another formidable challenge in Ocampo (35-2, 23 KOs). Ocampo proved his resilience by going the distance with Sebastian Fundora last year and has only been stopped once before, by the unbeaten Errol Spence Jr.
Adding to the excitement, the card also showcases the talented rising Australian boxer, Sam Goodman, in a significant title eliminator bout against the undefeated American fighter Ra’eese Aleem.
In an earlier battle this year, Tszyu knocked out former world champion Tony Harrison in the ninth round. Tszyu plans to keep fighting while he waits for a shot at the world title.
